AWOR was established on 15 March 1998 in Afghanistan as a woman based Organization and its objectives were to mobilize women, rehabilitate their civil rights, and enhance their capacity and livelihood. Find employment and income generated activities for widows, handicapped and disabled women to make them supply their own needs improve their way of living and strengthen their economy, and finally make them self-sufficient.
